Frequently asked questions

Does this work for digital products?

Yes. Section 7 covers digital downloads. It makes digital sales final once the file is downloaded and still covers broken or wrong files. The how-to page gives you the checkout checkbox wording that EU and UK buyers need. The wording is ready in the template—you only fill in the blanks. Want to know why the rules work this way? Does it include the EU withdrawal button?

Yes. Since June 19, 2026, shops selling to EU buyers need an online “Withdraw from contract here” button. The template tells your buyers where to find it. The button itself is something you add to your website, like a contact form. Here is how to add the EU withdrawal button.
